Six areas of work. One community.

Every program at Norooz Foundation answers to one of the six purposes in our mission. Most are free; the rest are by donation, and nobody is ever turned away for money.

How programs work

Free where we can. By donation where we must. Never a closed door.

Support programs — newcomer help, relief, human rights — are free. Classes and workshops ask for a sliding-scale contribution that covers the room and the materials, and any family can request a full waiver by ticking a box; nobody checks.

Most of our services are delivered online, via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, so you can take part from anywhere in Canada or the United States. Festivals and some gatherings are held in person in Coquitlam and Langley, B.C. If a program isn't offered where you are yet, tell us — most of ours started because someone asked.
